‘White Cloud’, 1893

Categories:   South Coast Shipwrecks

The 25-ton ketch ‘White Cloud’ was wrecked on the north point of Broulee Island on February 14th 1893. She was unladen and at anchor, whilst on a voyage from Sydney to Tomakin, when she lost both her anchors in ‘heavy easterly winds and sea’ and drifted onto rocks that are normally covered by just 2-foot of water at high tide.
